چکیده
It is shown that for a class of position dependent mass Schrödinger equation the shape invariance condition is equivalent to a potential symmetry algebra. Explicit realization of such algebras have been obtained for some shape invariant potentials. PACS: 03.65.Ca; 03.65.Fd; 03.65.Ge 1e-mail : [email protected] 2e-mail : [email protected]

New approach to (quasi)-exactly solvable Schrödinger equations with a position-dependent effective mass
By using the point canonical transformation approach in a manner distinct from previous ones, we generate some new exactly solvable or quasi-exactly solvable potentials for the one-dimensional Schrödinger equation with a position-dependent effective mass. In the latter case, SUSYQM techniques provide us with some additional new potentials. PACS: 02.30.Gp, 03.65.Ge
متن کاملThe Darboux Transform Applied to Schrödinger Equations with a Position-Dependent Mass
Essentially, the Darboux proposition is based on the covariance properties of ordinary and partial differential equations with respect to a gauge transformation in the special case of second order differential equations of the SturmLiouville type. In this work, the one-dimensional Schrödinger equation with a position-dependent mass (SEPDM) is transformed into a Schrödinger-like equation with a ...
متن کاملExact solutions of effective mass Schrödinger equations
We outline a general method of obtaining exact solutions of Schrödinger equations with a position dependent effective mass. Exact solutions of several potentials including the shape invariant potentials have also been obtained.
متن کاملEquivalence of two alternative approaches to Schrödinger equations
Recently developed simple approach for the exact/approximate solution of Schrödinger equations with constant/position-dependent mass, in which the potential is considered as in the perturbation theory, is shown to be equivalent to the one leading to the construction of exactly solvable potentials via the solution of second-order differential equations in terms of known special functions. The fo...
متن کاملSeries solutions of the Schrödinger equation with position-dependent mass for the Morse potential
The analytical solutions of the Schrödinger equation with position-dependent mass for the Morse potential are obtained by the series expansion method. The Morse potential and the position-dependent mass themselves are expanded in the series about the origin. As an example, the analytical series solutions of the Morse potential with the position-dependent mass m=m0eλr are given. 2004 Elsevier ...
